A lovely donor, Jo Parker-Dennis, unexpectedly came into our office to donate an $80 Countdown voucher that she had won.
Jo recognised there were families out in the community that were more in-need than her and wanted to give the voucher to make a positive difference in someone else’s life.
Amy and Kelsey went out with Lesley from The Cause Collective to deliver the Countdown voucher to a family of 8 in South Auckland, a Mother who has 7 children living in the house.
The $80 Countdown voucher will help reduce financial stress for this family and provide bread, milk, groceries, toothpaste and other important necessities.
The family was extremely grateful, with the little ones even coming up to thank us with big hugs. Thank you Jo for your generosity and teaching us that a little can go a long way.
