Middlemore Foundation, previously known as South Auckland Health Foundation, has worked to supplement government support by raising funds for the extra features that help to enhance the health services delivered by Counties Manukau Health (District Health Board) to the communities of Counties Manukau.

13 years on we have accomplished a great deal but while there will always be a need to update the hospital's facilities and equipment, which we will continue to support, we now need to support the hospital's reach out into the community, focusing on the urgent health issues that exist there.
